Overview:
Bacsil Silica Liquid Biofertilizer is formulated using fermentation technology, containing a cell count of 10^9 CFU/ml of Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria (SSB). While silicon is not classified as a primary nutrient for plants, it is accumulated and deposited in the epidermis and vascular tissues, enhancing the rigidity and strength of stems and leaves, which helps plants resist pests and diseases.
Silicon's Importance:
Silicon is the second most abundant element in the Earth's crust, primarily found in silicate minerals. However, these minerals are not directly available to plants; they must be converted to ortho silicic acid for absorption.
How Bacsil Works:
The Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria in Bacsil can convert various soil silicates into ortho silicic acid, which plants can readily absorb along with water. This process significantly contributes to increased crop yields and improved overall plant health.
Dosage:
Apply 250 ml per acre, mixed with an adequate amount of water or combined with a small quantity of well-decomposed organic manure. It can also be applied through a drip irrigation system.
